Characteristics
The design of the shirt is subject to maximum discretion, which is required by covert operations or personal protection. The COMFORT version is specially designed to allow use for as long as possible even in very temperature-demanding conditions or during heavy physical exertion.
The ballistic inserts are placed in the outer pockets of the inner shirt made of MOIRA Diagon material. The reverse side of this knit is made of polypropylene yarn, which is diagonally placed in the overall architecture of the knit and creates a finely ribbed structure. When in contact with the body, the ribs move apart due to the elasticity of the knit, and the resulting channels support air circulation, while providing good capillary moisture removal. The front side is made of a special polyamide microfiber, which in combination with an elastomer creates a compact elastic surface, resistant to mechanical influences with a good windstopper effect.
This unique material can use even a very small space between the user's body and the ballistic insert and retain moisture in this space, thereby ensuring a pleasant microclimate for 12 hours or more. When using the additional MOIRA Ultralight T-shirt at the same time, it is very comfortable to wear in any conditions.
The COMFORT T-shirt is put on over the head and fastened to the body using the back elastic band. This ensures its position on the body and maximum discretion when worn with any outer layer of clothing (polo, shirt, formal suit, etc.). The ballistic insert is stored in external pockets and its vertical stability is ensured by a patented solution, where the front insulation insert is suspended on auxiliary shoulder straps made of thin knitted fabric. At the same time, the ballistic material in its protective packaging is also secured against slipping.
For a better feeling of comfort and dryness, we recommend using the Ultralight MOIRA functional underwear as a bottom layer – the Ultralight T-shirt is part of the set.
